I've had a grateful experience at the Explorer's post at Hendricks Regional Health because it really gives you an insight to the different health professions at the hospital by touring the different departments. We also got to do some hands-on stations like seeing how a real lung pumps, from practicing to perform CPR to the beat of "Staying Alive", to seeing how a stimulated manikin can talk! We always worked in groups, which is really interesting to me because I was able to make new friends from different cities in the county. They even prepared a College Day for us to see what kinds of health related college programs they offer here in Indiana. We also took a field trip to a local university. I've had a blast here!!
