At Hendricks Regional Health, we are proud to support our EMS partners. As they are committed to serving their communities, we are committed to serving them through training and continuing education. Hendricks is committed to fostering the education and growth of first responders in our community in our mission to create healthier hometowns. Hendricks Regional Health is an EMS Center of Education providing EMT training and continuing education that keeps our local partners at the top of their game. We are certified by the Indiana Emergency Medical Services Commission as both a basic and advanced life support supervising hospital and teaching institution.

Our staff supervises and provides training for EMS/fire agencies in Hendricks, Boone, Putnam and Montgomery counties, including 650 affiliate emergency medical technicians, paramedics and first responders, as well as the general public.

The Hendricks Regional Health Emergency Department in Danville offers classroom training facilities plus a private, covered ambulance bay built to accommodate eight to ten ambulances and vehicles.

Hendricks Regional Health offers EMS programs with the mission to provide quality education for all aspects of pre-hospital care of emergency and non-emergency ambulance patients. The Hendricks Regional Health Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Education program is an integral part of our dedication to emergency care and commitment to providing the best community health services to all of Western and Central Indiana.

Emergency Medical Technician Training

We offer Emergency Medical Technician training courses every year in the spring, summer and fall at our Danville campus.
