EMS Education Programs

At Hendricks Regional Health, we are proud and honored to work with our EMS partners. They are passionate about their work, are committed to taking care of people, and study and train hard to be excellent at what they do. Hendricks Regional Health is an EMS Center of Education providing paramedic and EMT training that keeps our local partners at the top of their game. We are certified by the Indiana Emergency Medical Services Commission as both a basic and advanced life support supervising hospital and teaching institution.

Our staff supervises and provides training for EMS/fire agencies in Hendricks and Morgan counties, including 650 affiliate emergency medical technicians, paramedics and first responders, as well as the general public.

The Hendricks Regional Health Emergency Department in Danville offers spacious training facilities plus a private, covered ambulance bay built to accommodate eight to ten ambulances and vehicles.

EMS Education Programs

We offer two onsite EMS programs with the mission to provide quality education for all aspects relating to pre-hospital care of emergency and non-emergency ambulance patients. The Hendricks Regional Health Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Education program is an integral part of our dedication to emergency care and commitment to providing the best community health services to all of Western and Central Indiana.

Emergency Medical Technician Training

We host an EMT class every year in the spring and fall at our Danville campus. The program is a first come, first serve entry to the first 20 applicants. Learn more about our EMT program and class requirements by downloading the following PDFs:

Emergency Paramedic Training

Once an individual becomes certified as an EMT, they may further their education at Hendricks Regional Health as an Emergency Paramedic. The Hendricks Regional Health Paramedic program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP). We are not currently accepting applications for this class.
