Children admitted to the hospital at Hendricks Regional Health are cared for by our team of experienced pediatric hospitalists. These are pediatricians who work only in the hospital, and so have a great deal of experience and knowledge about the needs of hospitalized children and their families. Our pediatric hospitalists are found throughout Hendricks Regional Health, leading the care of babies, children and teens in our Pediatric Unit, Childbirth Center, Newborn Nursery and Special Care Nursery.

Pediatric hospitalists work with your child's regular doctor and all other providers involved in your child's care. When your family leaves our hospital, a pediatric hospitalist will give your child's doctor an overview of the hospital stay and detailed instructions for any necessary further care.
