These restrictions are designed to help protect our patients, staff and visitors from unnecessary exposure to the highly contagious flu virus, which can cause significant illness. While this may be inconvenient, we will keep these visitation changes in place for as long as necessary to address the widespread nature of these illnesses. VISITATION RESTRICTIONS

• Patients are allowed two visitors  in most hospital areas
• Childbirth Center - no visitors under age 14

VISITING HOURS

• ICU Daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (closed 6-7 p.m. for rounding)
• Medical Unit Daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Surgery Unit Daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 
• Pediatric Unit Daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Childbirth Center Daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Recommended visitation from 4 to 8 p.m.
  • Quiet time encouraged from 2 to 4 p.m.
  • Postpartum patients may have visitors under the age of 14 if they are siblings of the baby

MASK REQUIREMENT

Masks are welcome in Hendricks Regional Health facilities, but not required unless you have:

• A known respiratory illness
• Symptoms of a viral illness
