New Rheumatologist Joins Hendricks Regional Health Medical Group

Danville – Hendricks Regional Health Medical Group would like to welcome rheumatologist Dr. Marcia Johnson and her practice Hendricks Rheumatology. Dr. Johnson will be available beginning November 2 at Hendricks Regional Health Plainfield, 1100 Southfield Drive, Suite 1300, Plainfield. Hendricks Rheumatology’s office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday 8 a.m. to noon.

Rheumatologists are specialists who diagnose and treat rheumatic diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, scleroderma, bursitis and other auto-immune disorders involving pain in the musculoskeletal system.

Marcia Johnson, MD, Ph.D. - Dr. Johnson holds a Ph.D. in microbiology from the University of Illinois and completed her medical training at Rush Medical College in Chicago. She completed her residency in internal medicine and her fellowship in rheumatology at the University of Michigan. Dr. Johnson has worked for the past several years in private practice in Southfield, Michigan. Dr. Johnson is board-certified in both internal medicine and rheumatology. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
