Hendricks Regional Health partners with St. Vincent Bariatric Center of Excellence. Candidates who qualify for bariatric surgery (those with a body mass index above 40, or BMI of 35 or above with one or more obesity-related health conditions) can have pre- and post-operative bariatric services, such as laboratory tests, performed at Hendricks Regional Health.
Many services are available to help you lose weight and successfully keep it off. Experienced dietitians offer nutrition counseling at our Danville Campus, as well as free community classes at the Hendricks Regional Health YMCA that gives tools for better nutrition - including how to plan and prepare more healthful meals.

Wellness team members provide Good Health Starts at Home seminars across Hendricks County for better nutrition, fitness and stress management.
Surgical candidates must undergo a number of diagnostic tests and procedures, and participate in a medically supervised weight loss program, before proceeding to surgery.
